End to End delay analytical estimation of NoC with VBR traffic

چکیده

Abstract— Network On Chip (NoC) integrate real time application that require strength performance guaranties, usually enforced by a tight upper bound on the maximum end-to-end delay. The complex and unpredictable nature of data traffic, initiate the use of modeling and analytical prediction. In this paper, a Network Calculus mathematical method is used for analyzing the worst delay for mesh NoC with variable bit rate(VBR) flow. The key idea of our proposed method involves presenting and proving a technical proposition to derive delay bound under the mentioned system model.
